any suggestions?

don't suggest rap, pop/rock sung by guys with eye-shadow on or nashville crap about homemade whine and/or friend chicken or sung by some guy who has no hick-accent but choses to sing like he does...

or a girl who has no hick-accent but sings like she does (hint hint: cold beer in my right hand, left I got this wedding band song)...

just downloaded Black Snake Moan and Stack-O-Lee by Samuel L. Jackson... if you like foul language with some rockin' blues sound, download Stack-O-Lee... if not, download stuff about momma's homemade pie being eaten on the front porch while looking at a magnolia tree...

"She left me for Jesus"--Hayes Carll (better when sang by the writer Brian Keane, but fun song)
"In spite of ourselves"--John Prine
"Bread & Water"--Ryan Bingham
"Bumblebee"--Band of Heathes
"Scare Easy"--Mudcrutch
"100 Days, 100 Nights"--Sharon Jones & the Dap-kings (throwback to the doo wop days)
"Invisible Man"--Joe Jackson
"New Shoes"--Paolo Nutini

Very eclectic mix of stuff I've downloaded in the past week or so.

Hey, there's an alternate version of Bingham's "Bread and Water"... should I get the orginal (like 4 minutes long) or the Alternate (almost 6 minutes long)?

Ooh, gotta download some "Runnin' with the Devil"... David Lee Roth screaming aimlessly is the funniest thing ever...

I just have the regular version b/c i heard it on the radio. Was too much of a wimp to try the extended in case they remixed it.

HaHa, is Honky Tonk Badonkadonk the most idiotic song ever recorded????? It has to be.
Try downloading some Stevie Ray Vaughan(The Sky is Crying, Little Wing, and Texas Flood are greateven though he didnt write them), Marshall Tucker
Band, Allman Brothers, CCR(Born on the Bayou has got to be one of the best songs ever recorded), ZZ Top (I'm Bad I'm Nationwide and Just Got Paid are good songs).

Okay, I had heard Bread and Water "once" before, like the song... he actually did the Leno show on April 11th (my B-day) and that was the song he played, a lot of positive reviews...

I'm in this phase of trying to download all that 70's/early 80's lite rock AM radio stuff that I used to hear on my little Panasonic transistor.
