But...

I wonder how many of those OSU players took their 4 year
degree with them to the NFL...I know it's nowhere near the
same number as Michigan's.

I wonder if the NFL network included Maurice Clarett when they
added them up.

I didn't see Maurice in the highlights. Rich Eisen kept throwing out TOM BRADY like that should automatically rank Michigan ahead of Tosu. haha. It was funny.

3. THE Ohio State
4. Notre Dame
5. Michigan
6. Alabama
7.
8. Penn State
9.
10. Tennesse

Michigan is a great school...but isn't there a former qb from there that now coaches college ball that said that the academic standards for the football players aren't the same as for the general student population and that Michigan really isn't any different then most schools...except for the one that coach coaches at.....

Jim Harbaugh said this, & he would know.

That is true, & I know it for a fact. I used to work at A&M in Football Academics & Compliance. We did a national survey/questionnaire & found out a bunch of interesting stuff. Michigan is a great academic school - but athletes go to separate classes, different professors, even in different buildings than general students. Sometimes even different curriculum altogether. Legal too as they have exposed the loopholes to make it work.

Stanford, NEB, & others do some shady stuff too. Rice & ND help athletes more than you think as well. It happens everywhere to some degree. Some just take it further.

If I remember correctly its a form of cohorting athlete's to departments that are "FRIENDLY" to the athletics dept.
