...I'm not going to take anything for granted.

We swept Gatesville handily at our place earilier in the season before we played them in the first round. They returned the favor when it counted.

If we play Gatesville I hope the 'revenge factor' doesn't enter into it. If we play Lorena I think we'd be more at ease just playing ball.

No idea...

We played Fairfield up there a couple of years ago in the second round. Very nice facilities. I also noticed their signs of accomplishments which was impressive also.

Last year they finished 8-18. This year they stand at 10-12 overall and 7-3 in district.

Not to look past round one, but the third place team from our district would have either Carthage or Lufkin Hudson in round two (They both finished with one loss to each other, so I would assume that they're playing one more to decide the district champ). The runner up would face Grosebeck if they advance to round two. If you're looking down the road, I think you'd definitely want to be the runner-up.

HEY!!!!

Okay I was going to say something like half of the team was injured in pre-district or caught pneumonia, but I don't want to jeopardize my credibility ...

And on a different note, I'm pretty sure we're 6-4

I will try to be there. I have a Happy Hour to attend. It's for one of our former Managers on Friday. But it's gonna be early, so it depends on how drunk I get!!!! LOL!!!

Why is it hard to believe?

Jeremy Kerley threw that ball on a rope from about 275 in the air right to J.C.

His fastball has been clocked at 94 mph. It wasn't any secret he had the arm to make that play.
