You make a player and sign with a team. You start off with 5 skill points I think it is to add to your stats. You sign with a team and games are simulated, based on how you do you get more skill points. You can choose how hard you want your player to play and practice, and the different tactics he uses in games.

You can literally watch the games. They are just dots from an above view but it's still pretty cool.
