I know this may seem like a stupid question in 2008, but I was interested in finding out if there are any schools that do not have a track.

Yep, We have 2, 1 behind the High School and 1 at the main football field. I think we just had both of em resurfaced.

Jasper did better without a track. They won 3, perhaps 4 of their state championships without even a practice track. They set the national record in the 400m relay practicing on the side of a hill.

Cameron Highschool doesn't have a track but the jr high has a 6 lane

the Dallas 4A school I'm at doesnt have a track. Our JH a couple blocks down the road has a 4-lane track with no jumping pits.

Being a 3A website. I would find it hard to believe that a 3A school would not even have a track:thinking: Surely not, even if it's just a crappy one for practicing on only.

You would think so! That's why I said it's probably a stupid question in 2008! But not everyone is as blessed with facilities as others!
