A great job by the Horns! The competition was held in San Diego, CA and our ladies won it! Great news indeed! :clap: :clap: :clap:

What is more remarkable is that they did it without one of their top players (Destinee Hooker) who is participating in Olympic Volleyball on the USA National Team.

Yes and she is one of the top stars not only in college volleyball but also in track. She would also probably be a great basketball player if time permitted. A great athlete indeed.

The final points standings for the top four teams were:

1. Texas with 14 points

2. San Diego with 11 points.

3. Nebraska with 8 points.

4. USC with 4 points.

I don't want to make any guarantees but the UT semifinal match and the UT finals match is supposed to be on CBS College Sports this Friday at 7 P.M. with the finals match on Sunday at 7 P.M. Be sure to double check your tv guide though. I am not making any promises but maybe CBS will be redeeming themselves.
