People who use ebay

Are they have a problem with bots or something making fake bids on items?

Last week I was looking at Mavs tickets, and the leading bids on all of them were something like a***4, or some of variation in letter and number.

Now on the ortiz jersey all of the bids are different variations of that.

Is it people just trying to mess with ebay, or a ticket company or what?

I quit using E-bay. Got too frustrated with it. I do use Craigslist to quite some very good success!!

They do that now to protect buyers' identities...if you log in, it will show your screenname as the leading bidder, but it doesn't allow others to see who the leading bidder is.

That is what I was thinking, but I thought it just said hidden. And on some I saw they had bids on 100 different ticket items so I wasn't sure.

Ive purchased almost 800 items over the past 10 years or so

Have bought mainly vinyl records

also purchased a camera, vintate and beer collectibales

etc

I also quit using ebay, I got stuck by a sell for $1200.00, never got my merchandise. Contacted ebay, still waiting to hear from them that was 18 months ago. I use craigslist now, no ebay for me.
