Check out this linescore:

A&M 13 18 1
BU 12 22 4

A&M was down 7-2 entering the 6th, & 12-6 entering the 9th. Fought back to tie it & won it in 11 innings.

Just a wild ballgame from Waco. A&M has now swept 4 series in a row in Big 12 play. A&M is now 15-3 in the Big 12 & 33-7 overall, leading the Big 12 by a slim margin over NEB. NEB plays Kansas Sunday night on CSTV.

A&M had a runner thrown out at the plate in the 10th. Blake Stouffer had the game-winning RBI when he singled in Kyle Colligan in the 11th.

Yoakum's Travis Starling had a rough 8th (3 ER), but settled down & pitched 4 clutch innings to get the win. He is now 6-0 on year w/ 8 saves & a sterling 2.22 ERA as A&M's closer. Great kid too whom I got to know a few years back in select ball. He walked onto A&M's team w/ an academic scholarship, redshirted, & now has lettered the past 2 years. Good story & fine family.

Wow, great win for the Ags & tough loss for the Bears.

baylor's football team is better than the baseball team this year...sad thing is baseball has talent enough they were preseason pick to go to omaha by many, the football team has no talent whatsoever...i dontknow what is going on w/ baseball but their play this year has been ridiculously bad...

Talented squad no doubt on paper. Pitching depth has been a problem for Baylor. Steve Smith is a good coach but he has a bunch of enemies too. He used to be an asst. at A&M years ago.

Aaron Miller & Raynor Campbell are next level players. Keep an eye on them.

Kansas and Nebraska have already played. KU won, so the Ags now have a game and half lead in the standings.

We host Missouri next weekend who is third in conference and three games behind the Ags. Then it's Dallas Baptist the following weekend before ending conference play with a trip to Lincoln and the series with the Horns. Up to this point, we've done what we needed to do. You always like being in a situation where you control your own destiny.

It's going to be a four team race to finish this season...A&M, Nebraska, Missouri, and Ok State. Three of the top teams still have to play each other, while the team that took the series from those three, Ok State, has an easy stretch of games. Losing series to Baylor and K-State will probably end up costing OK-State a shot at the regular season crown.

A&M: Mizzou, @ Neb, Texas (1 and 2 split series)
Neb: @ Baylor, A&M, @ Mizzou
Miz: @ A&M, KSU, @KU, NEB
oSu: Kansas, Tech, OU (1 in Tulsa, 2 in OKC)

Current Standings:

Texas A&M ... 15-3
Nebraska ... 13-4-1
Oklahoma State ... 11-7
Missouri ... 9-6
Texas ... 8-10
Baylor ... 8-10
Kansas State ... 5-10
Kansas ... 5-10
Oklahoma ... 4-10-1
tech ... 5-13

Good info. Panther, & what a game huh? That was wild & wooly Sun. Big 12 baseball. Kansas helped us out, I just realized this game is taped on CSTV!

You are right, 3 tough series ahead, but we are in a good spot. Just have to take care of business & let the chips fall where they may. A&M never quits & that's a reflection of coaching staff. Tough-minded group of guys. I may go next weekend to Mizzou series in CS.
