In District 30AAA it was Sinton 12 Mathis 2 in 5 innings. Sinton had already won the district. In other games Orange Grove defeated Ingleside 4 - 3 in a thriller. Orange Grove had a 4 - 0 lead going into the top of the last inning then Ingleside rallied and scored three runs but came up one short. Both teams are in the playoffs with Orange Grove winning the runner up spot with a 7 - 3 record and Ingleside in third place with a 6 - 4 record.

In other action in District 31AAA it was Falfurrias 11 Zapata 1 and this win cinched a playoff spot for Falfurrias.

Silsbee and HF are tied for 3rd. They have a play-off game at 7:00 pm Monday @ Beaumont Ozen to settle 3rd place.

The Hutto girls capture the 18-AAA crown by beating the Ducks 10-0.

They are now 7-0 in district, have clinched the district championship and their first playoff berth since 2003.
