Gobbler Baseball change of venue

just rec'd info from a pretty reliable source (;) ) that tonights' baseball game between the Gobblers and the Palacios Sharks has been moved to Cuero. No details but I assume last night's weather may be a factor. I'll post if I hear anything to the contrary or additional info.......

I'm wondering about our games. Don't know if Mathis had any rain last night, but we had some. The sun is shining in Sinton, but I doubt that Mathis would agree to move to play this game. :p

after ALOT of discussion back and forth - it looks like the girls softball game will be in Port Lavaca tonight @ 7:00 between the Lady Gobblers and the Sharkettes (guess that's what they are called) of Palacios..

yeah they said on the announcements that it was moved to cuero because of last nights weather and games will start at 5 o'clock!!

Cuero won the baseball game over the Sharks 9-2

Final District game next Tuesday in Cuero against the Bulldogs of Yoakum

They announced at our game that Mathis and Sinton were tied 3 to 3 in their game - I don't know what inning they were in or if that was "confirmed" or not........
