My neice works for Whataburger in the Marketing Division (out of Corpus) and she loves it. Said they are the best folks to work for.. (on a corporate level at least) Food wise - I am partial to their Breakfast BOB with sausage myself

A GOOD one has jalapenos cooked in the egg, and picante suace. A bad one just has the jajapenos on it. Either way, it's my favorite "bought" breakfast.

My middle son lives in central Florida and he called me one night a few months ago all excited- he discovered that they built a Whataburger about 30 minutes from his house..... I thought they were a Texas only franchise, but I guess they are expanding...

The best meal of my life happened at about 3 or 4 in the morning at a Whataburger. I downed a double with cheese and bacon, a Whata-size order of fries, 4 Bobs, and a large chocolate shake after a hard night of partying.

All this talk is making me hungry. :)

We found out about PUBLIX at a National softball tournament in Orlando FL 3 summers ago. That place is GREAT! EVERYTHING you could ask for, and great prices! We got a Super HEB in Beaumont last year, and that's the closest thing I have ever seen to a PUBLIX.

If you ever go east, FIND A PUBLIX!

haha...that reminds me of a manager at the store I worked at in college. He came in one day after a long night of drinking and was pretty hacked off, because woke up and saw tons of Whataburger food wrappers in his living room. He asked his wife what had happened, and she told him that he had come home real hungry and went to Whataburger and got himself some food. He asked her if anybody else had eaten it, and she said no.

He found the receipt among the wrappers and picked it up and saw that he had eaten $36 of Whataburger that night by HIMSELF!

Reminds me of BuffyMars after a night of drinking we went to IHOP and she wanted Spaghetti FROM IHOP!!!

Well needless to say it was not good and she ANNOUNCES rather loudly how nasty it was

The "showcase" location on Shoreline Blvd. is pretty good and the view is awesome from upstairs...I will try to find a photo. I think it might be the only one of its kind.:)

Driving along Shoreline Drive in downtown you cannot miss the "flagship" of the Whataburger chain.

Built in 1999, it is the only two story type restaurant of all the Whataburger locations. Sitting outside on the second floor you have a beautiful and unobstructed view of the Corpus Christi Bay.

Both times when friends and/or family were visiting and in the summer, so that might have had something to do with it. :D

Whataburger is the best. I just came back from the states, and the best I could do was a Wendy's at Dulles.
