DON'T FLASH HEADLIGHTS AT ANY CAR
WITH NO LIGHTS ON!
Police officers
working with the DARE program have issued this Warning:

If you are
driving after dark and see an on-coming car with no headlights on, DO NOT FLASH
YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM! This is a common 'Bloods' member 'initiation game' that
goes like this: The new gang member under initiation drives along with no
headlights, and the first car to flash their headlights at him is now his
'target.' He is now required to turn around and chase and spot that car, then
shoot and kill every individual in the vehicle in order to complete his
initiation requirements. Police Departments across the nation are being warned.
< BR>
Their intent is to have all the new bloods nationwide drive around on
Friday and Saturday nights with their headlights off.
In order to be accepted
into the gang, they have to shoot and kill all individuals in the first auto
that does a courtesy flash to warn them that their headlights are off.


Make sure you share this information with all the drivers in your
family!

Please forward this message to all your friends and family
members to inform them about this initiation ritual. They are also known to
drive with high beams on and will do the same as indicated above.

That's funny, because of this rumor, for the last 12 years I just immediately start shooting at cars with their high beams on or their headlights out. :confused: :eek:

well i accidentally drove down 80 once not knowing my headlights weren't on, until we got to the point there were no streetlamps. :doh:

I had heard about this about 5 years ago. My aunt said that one day a white Mustang was driving along with no headlights on and it turned around and chased her, but she avoided the car in the backroads around our sub-division. I don't know if it is true or not, but she told me that like 3 or 4 years ago.

As a police officer for 5 years now i have come to realize that when these broadcast go out it is always best to listen to what they say. Most people think that these things wont or cant happen to them abd then bang it happens. People who are not in lawenforcement dont hear alot about these things and believe it or not these crimes go unoticed alot of the time by the media because of all the other things that are going on in the world. I hope and wish that all people would research these gangs and get a better understanding of who and what they are about.
