Maybe they will give Anthony Ray a shot at the AD job.I think he would be willing to stay for a while.

Should have been Ray in the furst place!

How do hire and El Campo guy to coach at Wharton? It's like hiring a Bay City guy to coach at El Campo

Thats true, going to be hard for the kids with it being late in the school year.I think Anthony could get alot of those kids in the hall way out for football and boost up the numbers.Good luck to you guys this offseason, and hope to catch some 7-7 this summer.Got a couple of kids who want to play this fall but are not in offseason, hope they can catch up in the wieght room this summer.

But could instill some discipline?

In football, Wharton had at least one player ejected from each game.

The numbers in track are real low

Hear Ray is a new coordinator at Bay City.

The discipline has to be there, but i think coach ray is probally the one that could instill some discipline and still get the athletes out to play football.

wow....

ths is a shock for wharton...

maybe raider red will give us the scoop.

wharton is in a down cycle....happens in 3a......most parents do not wish to hear that.

wharton's football district lost two powerful teams......so there is a little leeway into at least 3rd place...

But that was the previous coaching regime's fault, right?

I am just kidding, kind of a shock to hear, both the part about GVS and the kids getting ejected. I think we had a few ejections here and there when I was there, but in all 10 games? Wow, that must be some kind of record.

I wonder if Ray would leave BC to come back?

nope, like i wrote earlier..

wharton is on a talent drought.....

or as a parent would say....

IT'S THE COACH'S FAULT!!!

i've always supported teachers and coaches.....

for those in the profession.....keep the faith.....

there are those in the community THAT ONLY THINK THAT THEY COULD DO YOUR JOBS.

Thanks, we will need it, especially when we go to Abe Martin Stadium to play Lufkin week 6. I think that I might call in sick that game;)

Tell your son hello from me. We are going to watch Kellen play in the spring game Sat.
