Hope Ortiz is a 2002 graduate of Odem High School and recent graduate of the University of Texas-San Antonio. She is your all-American girl. Homecoming queen, star pitcher in softball and just all around bad ass. She is like Taylor Vaughn...every girl wants to be her and every guy wants to...well you get the point. She was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and is currently in Houston receiving treatment at MD Anderson. This group was made to raise awareness, raise prayers, and raise money. Like most recent college graduates, Hope is without health insurance. Hope needs our help. This is where we all come in. We aren't asking much. Attend a "Helping Hope" event. Donate a dollar. Donate $100. As you're driving down the road on your way to work say a prayer. Our goal is 1 million prayers and 100 million dollars. Well maybe not $100 million but we'll take however many hundreds, thousands, or millions and have it go straight to helping Hope. If Hope has ever touched your life please help us out. Even if you have no idea who she is and you accidently stumbled across this group, but you're looking for a good cause and you have a big heart. Benefit fundraisers, raffles, and bar-b-que's will be announced on this page.
