....in Southwest Kansas! About two and a half weeks ago four 16 & 17 year old girls were killed during their lunch break when the driver (who was critically injured) did not stop at a stop sign and was hit by a truck. (this town is about 45 minutes from the town I just moved from) April 6th a 13 year old girl (from the same town) was killed in a four wheeler/dune buggy accident in a local sand dune park (this sand park is in the town I just moved from) Plus, this past Saturday a 19 year old K-State student died after falling from a 2nd story balcony at an on campus apartment complex. His mother was a co worker of mine and one my daughter's teachers at her old high school. This entire area is in need of lots of prayer and healing! All these kids were your typical Kansas country farm kids--good kids....a sad time for this area!
