How are those district races going in softball and baseball???? Hope all is well in Tiger land. Hear there will be a new leader at the high school campus....He has been there a long time.

Softball is down and baseball is up. Boys lost to Hutto, but are looking strong in district. Track numbers are way down.

Rockdale baseball has dropped three straight since starting 3-0.

Tonight they play @ winless Cameron. If they're not careful the Yoe might jump up and bite them since Burks will probably be pitching for Cameron.

Softball has to win and have Liberty Hill lose to have a chance to get in, can't believe it softball has been up for so long it's been a tough year for the ladies.
Base ball is up really need to win tonight. Started out pretty hot they need to turn it around tonight in Cameron.

Terry Pope is gone so that explains a good deal of it. He hounded people to get on the track. I talked to his son the other day, and he said coach pope was doing well. I miss that guy.:)

he allowed too many runs....sounds like rockdale's defense was sub par tonight as the announcer mentioned many infield hits for cameron

Between innings of the Taylor L.H. game I went to the car and tuned in 98.5

I just happened to catch the announcer saying that "The Tigers are unable again to stem the Cameron momentum by allowing three more runs in the bottom of the third in addition to the five in the first and four in the second."

I was like "What?!?!"

Great coach, great teacher, and a great man. He is one of those guys that probably made a difference in all of our lives having him through those years. I cant remember anyone having anything bad to say about him.
