For those complaining

What exactly do you want in April here on the board?


Want to talk about the pre-season top 10 for 3A? Which of course will be asked, discussed in COUNTLESS threads over and over and over as football season draws near


Want to rehash the 2007 season...again?


Maybe we can just have threads that do nothing but list the rosters for every team in the state, yea that is exciting

Or maybe you all who hate the useless threads would rather us just all stop coming to the board from Jan-July..yea that will keep the board going


My point is, when a board is a one class and basically one sport board, the ONLY way it will survive and remain a viable board is for people to stick around in the off-season. The only way that will happen is for people to feel that there is a family atmosphere and a place to that has random stuff, sports related and non sports related until football season rolls back around

IMO, what is unique about this board is the amount of posters who have met in REAL LIFE!

Heck, I met Pirate4State in Stanton at the Old Sore head trade days.....that WAS NOT sports related.

I met LH Panther Mom at a bullride in Marble falls.....I guess depending on how you look at it, that MIGHT be sports related.

I met Jason, Emerson1, SintonFan, OldDawgGreen and family and countless others in the middle of summer (off-season to the rest of us) at Inks Lake.

Believe it or not, when I met these people, we really didn't talk that much about sports!!!!:eek: :eek: :eek:

I also think that we should dive a bit deeper into A&M's superiority/inferiority complex...but if we were to actually find the root of the problem...the space time continuum would likely shut itself down as a result of such an earth shattering discovery.

what we want is for the board to reuturn to the way it once was. where a poster can post on a subject and express their opinions not having to worry about making somebody mad. this board is called 3adownlow. not mr. rogers neighborhood. everybody doesnt have to be friends. and everday doesnt have to be beautifal

unfortunately he had some kind of cat virus and died within a week of getting him for my daughter.:o she was very sad

So I had to replace the dead kitten with a new one and we found this guy who we named Honda because of the H on his head. This made my daughter very happy and I was no longer the worst dad on the planet. Yay me!!! Feel free to post your favorite cat stories here.

Come this December, I'll have been here 9 years. As far as I remember, this board has always been this way. So, some of us aren't real sure what you mean by "the way it once was".

If it's the "friendly atmosphere" you resent, I'm sure there are plenty of other sites where you can just go wild to your hearts' content.

There are plenty ways to express your thoughts and not come off as bashing others.

their have also been many threads and posts that have been removed in recent years that aren't bashing others. certain people just dont agree with what they wanna hear so they delete them

Threads and posts can be removed for a variety of reasons. If it's the moderation here you object to, you should reread the rule about questioning mods in an open forum. There's a right way and a wrong way to go about this.
