Because of marlin water trouble ,students forced to transfer to rosebud isd

because of the marlin water problem ,the board of education has forced students to transfer to rosebud- lott isd. marlin isd will be closing until it is fixed. this means that 2a powerhouse rosebud-lott will get 27 new football players to their spectacular team. i want to know what happens to their starters that were returning from rosebud-lott. do them and the other 27 players from marlin battle for spots.

I doubt they're actually going to school at Rosebud-Lott... probably just using the facilities. I don't know anything about the story, but I know Rosebud is a 2A school and would take on a small 3A... I don't think the UIL would allow them to continue playing as a 2A.

I have heard this kid make some very out stupid remarks such as 40 YD dash times of backs going 4.2 40/S but this is not stretching the truth this is flat out lying about a very unfortunate string of city water problems.He knows he is not telling the truth and I hope the administrator bars him from this board.

hey first of all it should have said at the end it was a joke. who r u calling a kid im 25 yrs old and i know for sure (to the lorena person) that i have made over 220 post. i have had two screen names marlin fan and marlin bulldog and i know that are respected highly on this board. so scrub (7) post on this board u should think about where you land in the class rankings.

to everone else i have proff of the 10.01 wind aided ran that saturday in groesbeck by the kid from mexia. check the waco tribune herald if you dont believe me.

their is another marlin fan with lowercase letter. he was the one who said something about marlin backs running a 4.2. the fastest back marlin has runs a 4.5. now i said elgin had a qb that ran a 4.4 or 4.3 something like that

Water is bad here in Rockdale too. Once when i was at Taco Bell the filter for the water was clogged up because it is that bad. But Rockdale is a pretty nice town. Hope yall can get the problem fixed over there in Marlin.

I'm Cunbed10 and yes I was having a little fun since football seasons is over with the 40 times, but stupid I'm not, so If I'm to be banned from the forum for having a little fun so be it, but I never made a post about the Marlin water, and if your team plays the 3rd ranked Marlin Bulldogs as of 14Jun03 you might think they're running 4.2's and 4.3's because we're going to be loaded.

At least ya'll HAVE water. We have people here who are having to haul water in because their wells have gone dry. My 39 gallon a minute well is now down to 4 gallons a minute.

This is why Greenwood hasn't replaced their field before now - NO WATER!! They finally made a deal with some guy who owns the water station, and are now piping water in to water the field with.

Well actually, we looked into that. We were told that because of the surrounding terrain (cottonfields) that turf would be ruined within 2 years. Unfortunately, GISD is kinda boxed in and we have no where else to go. We need more student parking and eventually will have to take the land where the Little League fields are just to put in more parking. It's a bad deal, but I guess way back when, no one had any idea that the Greenwood population would take off as it did.
