Favorite concession stand food.....

I haven't eaten lunch yet, so I'm hungry and started thinking about sporting events and the food there. I just wanted to see what people like to eat from the concession stands.

since we have about 40 lbs of venison hamburger meat in the freezer - we eat ALOT of venison chili (and tacos, spaghetti, hamburgers.....)


The Hamburgers at Schulenburg are delicious.. They use buns made at a local bakery that literally melt in your mouth :)

I think he is referring to the Sonora at El Dorado game we went to a few years ago. We had Shiner Bock and eggs. Sonora won a close game. They had the Duhon brothers that year.

Oh, and our fajita tacos are pretty good. Sometimes though they cut them the wrong way & that makes them not so good! :(

Gasoline prices have taken their toll on Wylie too. The home side still gets complimentary filets, but the visitors side we've cut back to ribeyes.

I love chilli cheese nachos...

I worked the concession stand every thrusday for jv football games or middle school games the whole 4 years I was in high school so we got tired of the food after a while and came up with new things. The best of which was getting a bag of popcorn and getting a nacho boat of just chilli and cheese and dipping the popcorn in it.

The real Frito pie where they slice the bag along the side and then poor in blistering hot chili and nacho cheese. So freaking hot that you can't even eat until the second quarter, but man is it worth the wait. :D
