Did anyone see how dominant the ngleside JV and Varsity boys were at the district track meet? Both teams scored over 200 points and won district running away.

Nice...that's something that doesn't come along very often in Ingleside....speed in the boys' sports. The girls' track team on the other hand has always been pretty good.

I think the Sprint Relay ran a low 43 and the mile relay ran a 3:31. I heard the 800 relay has a chance to get out of the region but I didn't get their time. The 100m runner ran a 10.6 and has a chance to get to the state meet. Several teams moved quality runners down to try and win the JV title and Ingleside still blew them away. Mathis had a kid long jump over 20' and would have gone to Regional but they had him jumping JV.

800m relay ran a 1:33. That is average at best I think. 10.6 is not bad!!! STX, see you in Travis County!

No really everyone has a shot with Cuero's two top runners out with hamstrings. Cuero has a freshman in the 100 and a freshman in the 200
and all 3 relays have a freshman running. They had to take the place of the 2 injured guys. One is Hargrove who has been to state in the 100 and 2 relays 3 years in a row. The other guy was the fastest one of them all, Frances. Those will hurt, but the young guys are fast, but just not as fast yet.

Looking at Cuero's times Ingleside is right there with them in just about every relay. Ingleside did run a 1:31 800m relay this year.
