You can never figure sports out. Needville has had WC's #, Sweeny has had Needville's #, & WC has had Sweeny's # for the most part. Maybe it's the individual match-ups or intensity or something else. I wasn't there to know specifics of each game. The top 3 just take turns beating each other. Crazy game.

This sets up a huge game between Sweeny & WC coming up soon (@ WC). Probably decides district champ if both hold serve. Needville is certainly in this mix too with all 3 making the playoffs.

Updated standings?

what a mess. so needville owns head-to-head against columbia, but sweeny owns head-to-head against needville and they all have the same record? how do you decide who gets 1st? assuming they all hold over the last 3 games?

So if Columbia and Needville end up 12-2. Needville will go #1 seed due to head to head record.
If Sweeny and Needville go 12-2. Sweeny goes #1 due to head to head record.

Anyone know the tie-breaker rules? I understand each District had the options pre-season to set them up the way they wanted. Also, Sweeny beating Needville twice, wouldn't that put them in first, as of now, using head-to-head?

1) Sweeny 9-2 (beat Needville twice)
2) Needville 9-2 (beat Columbia twice)
3) Tie (for now) between Columbus 8-3 and Columbia 8-3

Yes, to answer your question, but 3 games left too. (7x2=14 games in 8 team district).

Head-to-head is 1st tiebreaker from my understanding. Gonna be a great finish for 3 playoff spots.
