Sweeny over Wharton 1-0 in pitchers duel

Dogs score run in top of the 7th on hit and run single

Lots of fly balls with wind blowing in at Tiger Field

Great defensive game by both teams

Who pitched for both teams? Riley Hornback for Sweeny (or Aaron Rollins) & Looper for Wharton? I know Hornback pitched last Friday & took a tough loss on a 3-hitter, so this would be his 4th day. I went to Astros 5-3 loss to Cardinals so obviously was not there.

Sounds like a really good ballgame. Thanks for update.

Riley Hornback hurt himself his first at bat... Sweeny's coach said ankle might have been broken...

Thanks Area Code. Big win for Sweeny.

Great job by Aaron Rollins. Heck of a kid & coach's dream. Works hard, solid player, & you never hear a negative word out of him. Big team effort to get the win.

Keep it up & win district Dogs!

Did Hornbeck get hit by a pitch or did he twist it swinging the bat?
