Adrian Alaniz got his first loss ever against 5A CCking 11-10.According to the Corpus paper Sinton had a 8-2 lead going in to the 5th.king 7 runs that inning.kings ace got chased out in the 3rd while Alaniz pitched the entire game.Just goes to show that even the best are beatable.Have no fear though,Sinton and Alaniz will be back.

Yes they will be back Sinton Fan and Sinton won't have to worry about the pressure of being No. 1 and Alaniz won't have the pressure of having a perfect record. Now the team can concentrate on winning district and getting into the playoffs.

Does Sinton play again in SA, or are they knocked out?

In my book, the loss to King isn't much to worry about. They are considered to be a title contender this year in 5A. For Sinton, to be the best you have to play the best. They do this year after year in baseball.

Does Sinton play again in SA, or are they knocked out?The HS website list "HS: Boys BB Varsity vs Floresville @ San Antonio (Wolfe) 8:30p" for today's game. Hope this helps...

Also, this isn't considered a tournament. It's matchups from some of the area's best teams.

To Sinton Fan or anyone else please post who was credited with the loss. The Corpus Christi article lost some credubility with me when it said Sinton Survied with a 12 to 11 win yet in the article is said CC King won. Does anyone know who is the losing pitcher for Sinton?

Phil, the Caller Times website credited Skrobarcek with the loss. Hehe, we know how accurate they are anyway. wink
