I like the point gaurd play of Rose for Memphis, but in the end, I think it's going to come down to the fact that Kansas is almost as athletic as Memphis (The best matchup of any team thus far) and can keep up with the fast paced style, and their ability to make free throws and play good defense down the stretch. I'll take Kansas 83-72.

I did great until Sat. & then the roof fell in on my picks. I think Memphis is the team to beat, but I hope Kansas wins for the Big 12. Kansas is very athletic & has some guys who match up well with Memphis. If they have a dry spell like they did Sat. vs. UNC then it's all over.

I just hope it's a good game.

when they're only shooting 2 for 10 I can see why they weren't shooting 3's

Kansas wasnt patient enough to chance to tie the s core and just jacked up a poor shot

they yad 12 plus seconds to get a shot off before the buzzer to tie it

Going to OT. 63-63. Chalmers tied the game with a 3 with 2.1 sec left with Rose all in his face!

Wow!

KU did an excellent job fouling. Nobody has more than 3 fouls.

Arthur 3
Chalmers 3
Collins 3
Robinson 3
Rush 2
Kaun 2
Jackson 1

Memphis has...

CDR 3
Anderson 2
Taggert 2
Dozier 2
Rose 1

I am personally annoyed when they say stuff like that.. yes the SCHOOL knows how it is to be in OT but these werent the same players as it was back then..

its just kinda annoying when they say that.

On another note...

GO KANSAS!

Memphis was just outsmarted down the stretch.

Why was Memphis trying to get back on defense instead of crashing the boards when Douglas-Roberts shot that three at the end of OT? Very poor decision-making down the stretch on the Tigers' part. Cost them a national title.

Obviously, in the quote I am referring to the fact that Kansas would win the free throw battle, and go have a look. Kansas knocking down free throws help put away this game. How about Chalmers hitting both Ft's in OT? That had nothing to do with the game right?

I'm going to think about the shot Chalmers made in Reg and KU's defense, which you somehow managed to forget to criticize me for in your previous quote.

Nice try again.

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g115/mexmustangs04/Sign-Cow-1.gif Where did you come up with 3? I was thinking 7. But yea, Memphis had been substantially better as of late so, Iwouldn't exactly say KU had that huge of an advantage in that department and that was also only part of my reasoning for KU to win.
