hart guy thats a balls to the wall prediction, the coaching staff has nothing to do with sucess? against burnet they were out coached. a good staff may have won that game, yes won that game.

Not much, I'm glad to hear that you passed all your classes, and get to finish out the season in band. You better pass this 6 weeks too, because yall could still be playing you know.

And NO a good staff couldn't have won the game against Burnet, because the BEST staff in the state was on the Burnet sideline. About Marlin, I was just saying I see them going 5-0 in district play.

come on hart guy are you telling me that marlin had less talent than burnet?I think the talent level was about equal, Burnet has the edge in depth. I agree Marlin was outcoached, but our coaches do it all the time. But coaching wasn't the only reason they lost, they played a better team, plain and simple.

hart man,I agree burnet coaching staff is great.so is the talent,lets say marlin had burnets coaching staff,and marlins talent?could they beat burnet? dont get me wrong i love 25-3a.

Some things just can't be coached.

They will likely go 3-2. They will lose a couple of games maybe to Caldwell and Rockdale. Marlin will have to start playing better football and stop reading its press releases regarding how great a team they are. They are 1-4 and got tounched Friday and still have a few tough teams ahead in district. It all depends on how emotionally up they can get after the Ennis game. It might be too tough for them to come back to a higher level. We'll see! :cool:

I wish marlin the best of luck in district. They are a good team and I hope Caldwell will at least give them a challenge this year.
