I'm guessing he might have an updated one sometime this week, but here are his rankings from last week:

Conference 3A

1. Splendora
2. Burkburnett
3. Medina Valley
4. Devine
5. Texarkana Liberty Eylau
6. Bridge City
7. Waco Robinson
8. Huntington
9. West
10. La Grange
11. West Columbia
12. Wills Point
13. Bullard
14. Ferris
15. Prosper
16. Bellville
17. Van
18. Clyde
19. Giddings
20. Navasota
21. Taylor
22. Royce City
23. Lubbock Cooper
24. Pilot Point
25. Sealy

Comments: The incredible number is 87 and counting, consecutive district wins by Bridge City going back to the turn of the century (actually 2002). The Cardinals have reloaded and rebuilt several times and the competition has gotten increasingly better but they have managed to win their way to the longest current district wining streak in Texas and last week, trailing 5-3 in the top of the seventh inning the Cardinals scored eleven runs to win 14-5. Burkburnett beat Heath Rockwall 2-1 in the first game of a Friday night double header then played two time defending class 5a champion Garland to a seven inning 1-1 tie with each team collecting five hits. Ashley Verner hit a walk-off single into center to score Rikki Reedy as Bonham edged Van Alstyne, 2-1, Verner and Reedy each went 2-for-3 with an RBI apiece for Bonham (12-7, 4-2). Reedy also got the win, striking out nine and retiring 15 of Van Alstyne's last 16 batters -- including a streak of 12 straight. Kayla Duren struck out 10 for Van Alstyne (6-9, 1-5). Bullard and Van both are playing well, Bullard’s pitching is coming on an makes them a serious playoff opponent. Medina Valley defeated district foe Lytle 13-3. Defending state champion Medina Valley has a strong hitting team and has good depth on the mound but an error in the field resulted in a 2-1 loss to Pleasanton after beating Poteet 9-2 earlier. Overall Medina Valley is 22-5. Devine blanked Crystal City 11-0. Clyde defeated Sweetwater 11-1 in 6 innings then slammed Breckenridge 15-0 in 5 innings following Clyde's upset loss to Abilene Wylie. Frisco Wakeland beat Bonham 7-3 as Alexis Cantu struck out 14 and scattered three hits. Sweeny is 15-5 overall, 5-2 in district beating : Needville, Stafford, Royal, Wharton, and Columbus while losing to Columbia and Sealy. Sophomore Allie Chenault is 15-5 with 547 career strikeouts, 265 for this year alone. Burkburnett’s Carrie Harvey pitched a no-hitter Tuesday night a 4-0 victory over the Vernon Lady Lions. Harvey (11-2-2) racked up 14 strikeouts and was on the verge of a perfect game until a dropped ball in the final inning spoiled the feat. Kalea Correll was 2-for-3 at the plate with a run scored, while teammate Ciara Clampit was 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI. LaGrange beat Navasota 6-5 as Katie Wolfe hurled the complete game win. Navasota was led by Kayla Garcia who doubled, tripled and drove in two runs while collecting three hits. Columbia beat Sealy 7-3, beat Sweeny 10-2 and beat Stafford 11-1 to improve to 18-6 overall and 7-1 in district. Sweeny and Needville are a game back at 6-2.

Crandall should be in there somewhere. They've only lost once or twice and beat Ferris already in District and Ferris is sitting at 144 in that poll

Alot of teams should be up there that aren't. Sealy probably won't make the playoffs and they are listed at #25. It's just one guys opinion. Usually, to make this poll you've got to send him some stats. ;)

We have to be careful. We play Orange Grove in Orange Grove on Friday and it is going to be a tough one. Remember they beat West Oso 14 to 0 last week.

UPDATED POLL 4/7/2008

Conference 3A

1 Splendora
2 Burkburnett
3 Medina Valley
4 Bridge City
5 Huntington
6 West
7 La Grange
8 Columbia
9 Robinson
10 Wills Point
11 Bullard
12 Ferris
13 Prosper
14 Texarkana Liberty Eylau
15 Levelland
16 Van
17 Clyde
18 Devine
19 Hutto
20 Sinton
21 Fabens
22 Giddings
23 Royce City
24 Midland Greenwood
25 Pilot Point

Comments: Pearsall defeats Devine 7-1 while Robinson (they don’t want to be called Waco Robinson) dropped a couple of spots due to huge wins by their competition not so much any lack of performance on their part. Hutto is 5-0 in district after blanking Cameron Yoe 7-0. La Grange edged Giddings 8-7 and beat Caldwell 14-2. La Grange is on a 23 game winning streak with a record now of 24-4 overall and 7-0 in district. Bridge City blanked Silsbee 4-0 while Orangefield shut out Jasper 4-0 and West Orange Stark clipped Kirbyville 6-5. Prosper (8-1, 16-4) beat Wakeland (7-2, 13-5) 7 to 0 as Jourdan Esquenazi had a 13 strikeout no hitter. Clyde avenged an earlier loss by beating Abilene Wylie 4-2. Interesting note from Southeast Texas, Bridge City has a seven year district win streak, more than 86 straight district victories.
Sweeny beat Needville 2-0 in nine innings to move into second place and improved their record to 16-5 overall, 6-2 in district. Sinton is really heating up as they whipped Aransas pass 6-0. Fabens is 21- 4 with 11 shutouts, 3 no-hitters, 6 one hitters, and have out scored opponents 269 to 95. They have lost to Lubbock Coronado, Lubbock Monterey, Lubbock High, and Canyon Randall. Wills Point beat Nevada Community 14-0 and has out-scored their district opponents 66-1. Texarkana Liberty Eylau has a district loss, previously not reported. Ferris is 21-5, 6-1 after beating Kemp 16-0 and Kaufman 10-1.

No "probably" to it, P4S... we "won't" make the playoffs .
I couldn't figure out how Sealy was #25 either. he's must be smokin' some good stuff!! :D No stats have been sent to him this year, because if we had, he sure wouldn't have put us up there!!
Maybe he heard about our tournament play when we beat Bellville and LaGrange and some decent 4a and 5a teams. But that was actually over a month ago. Oh well, looks like we're off now and Sinton is on it!. IDK

3aSoftball4Mom - Sorry to hear about the season your gals are having. I'm guessing Casey has even LESS hair now lol!

Seriously - I appreciate the work you do on your web site. I get by there pretty often to check on the scores and standings, and you do a GREAT job, and it IS appreciated!

Best of luck!

He tries. It's no big deal. I'd rather we not be on anyone's radar. :D That I know of no one has sent him any stats on us either. We have been beating the crap out of our district opponents, but our district isn't very strong. ;)

Yep, Casey is getting thinner on top and maybe even a little gray! I know I can feel grey hairs popping out! Did you hear that a baby girl is on the way for Casey and Mrs. Coach?? August, I believe..
I'm glad that my website can offer some info for others outside of our District. If I had someone giving me the information, I would love to have all the district scores for region III. Thank you for the compliment!! Good luck to your ladies from Bridge City in the Playoffs.

That makes #3 for CA?

I keep 21-AAA scores and standings up to date over on another board that does sports in SETX (lol if you know what I mean) - Come by and take a look. I also forward it all to 18handicap's board....

coach anderson is a super coach, as well as a super dad. any school he coaches at is lucky to have him. he seems a perfect fit at sealy. someone tell the man that 4 is a lucky number, and he needs to stop right there. LOL...
