thats awesome... he was my fav player growing up...!!! the 95' NBA Finals sweep and one of the very few centers to shut down Shaq!

Well-deserved Dream, thanks for the memories & championships.

#34 in Houston sports lore: Hakeem Olajuwon, Earl Campbell, Nolan Ryan: that's high cotton folks!

FYI: the great Bill Russell calls Olajuwon the greatest center ever, ahead of himself, Wilt, Kareem, etc. Way better than Shaq for sure - Olajuwon changed games on both ends of the court. All-time blocks leader & true gentleman.

those of us that saw the post game interview with the DREAM and clyde the glide.....classic stuff......just two friends on the podium....laughly, celebrating.....

Olajuwon has a huge house in Sugar Land. During the first championship season, the city decided to changed the name of his street to "Deam Street". They put up the new street signs, but he asked them to take them down. He didn't like all the attention or the mobs of people knowing where he lived. I knew the guys at the city and ended up getting one of those "Dream Street" signs.
