The only result that I saw was Sandman vaulting 14'6 in one meet. If he keeps that up, he may be state bound, I think he will have to go around 15 to win it all.

i think he may have to go higher than that to win it all. That kid from West is pretty good...

was nursing a leg injury this season. competed in the 300 hurdles for the first time this season at the hornet relays and won it easily in a time of 38.48. also placed second in the long jump with a leap of 20-9 1/2. he ran on the 1600 meter relay team which won with a time of 3:30.62. I would say he is back and was missed all year...

i hear sandman has a new nickname of american airlines. he has gone up anywhere from 2-6 inches every meet. he has had one where he stayed the same height as the previous week and that was 14'6". he vaulted an astonishing 15'2" monday. The kid is A BEAST! oh, by the way, chaney is running. he is not quite at 100% but he is pretty darn close. just to thrown that in there.

Its either that or 11. I know when they were annoucing the winners, all the kids from Bellville were holding up two ones. Im guessing that means 11 straight.

Which region is West in. Should be a great showdown in the pole vault with Sandman, my understanding he keeps going higher each meet. Unsure of what is waiting in Orangefield, they always have great vaulters. I guess we will see at Humble.

Sandman is a great athlete. Pole vault demands great strength and athleticism, like no other event. Hope he makes it to state.

Giddings girls take the District Championship for the second year in a row. Congratulations!!!

Wish I could find out the results, is there something in the UIL rules that they do not want to release and post the meet results?

No but most papers only put in the local team results. And I do not suscribe to Texas Track.
