In District 30AAA it was Sinton 11 Ingleside 0 in 5 innings, Orange Grove 17 West Oso 4 in 5 innings and Aransas Pass 14 Mathis 5. There are three games left to play. Right now the standings in district are according to the Corpus Christi Caller Times:
1. Sinton 7-0
2. Orange Grove 5-2
3 & 4. Tie between Ingleside and Aransas Pass at 4 - 3.
5. Mathis 1 - 5
6. West Oso 0 - 7
It is a real fight for the 2nd and 3rd playoff spots between Orange Grove, Ingleside and Aransas Pass and the three teams have to face each other in the last three games.
Also Orange Grove has to face Sinton on Tuesday and this could be a barn burner because OG is fighting for a playoff spot and has really come on strong lately beating Ingleside and last night Mathis by a convincing score. Plus the game is in Orange Grove which makes it more risky. They played us tough in the first game but some mistakes did them in. If Sinton wins Tuesday night they are district champions with two games to play. But Orange Grove is going to be tough. Scary times indeed!
