1st Inning - Jasper got 5 runs, BC went down in order.
2nd Inning - Jasper 5, BC 3
3rd Inning - Jasper 6, BC 3

TOP 5th Inning - Jasper 6, BC 7 -- BC hit single homerun, 4 homeruns on the night, 2 for BC, 2 for Jasper.

Error by Jasper - Wind blew the ball back in front of outfielder. BC has runner at third.

Sinton beat the snot out of Bridge City in football. Bridge City was highly touted in baseball that year (well Spring of 2002) as well, but didn't make it to the final four. If I remember correctly, it was Old Cardinal doing all the "touting" :D ;)

We were HIGHLY outcoached in that game! You guys knew what play we were going to run before our COACH called it! Of course, that same year, my oldest daughter, who was in the 7th grade at the time, told me "It's bad when I know what play we're going to run because of who lines up where".

We were MUCH better than we showed - and that is purely fact speaking, not "would of - could of - should of" lol.......You guys MADE us look bad, which is a testament to how GOOD you were!

Thank you. The best thing I remember about that day is running into some BC fans at dinner after the game and how nice & gracious they were to us. :thumbsup:

I WAS NOT one of them lol. I came down with a stomach virus on the drive up, and was sick as a dog the whole day! We went to eat afterwards, and all I could do was sit at the table and moan........... :(
