Tight Race in District 9AAA Baseball

After last night's games the baseball race in District 9AAA got tighter and a little wacky. Four teams (Celina, Princeton, Prosper, and Frisco Wakeland) are all now 4-2 with one game left in the first round of district play. Celina lost to Princeton and Lovejoy----Princeton lost to Prosper and Lovejoy----Prosper lost to Celina and Frisco Wakeland----and Frisco Wakeland lost to Princeton and Van Alstyne. Celina and Frisco Wakeland play this Friday night in Celina. Bonham, Frisco Liberty, Lovejoy, and Van Alstyne are the other teams in the district and any of them are capable of beating any of the four teams that are now tied atop of the district standings. The second round of district play should be interesting as all 8 schools are still in the play-off chase.
