i ran the 800 in high school and if its anything the same (depending on what relays) anywhere from 1st to 4th but in regionals it will be 5th or 6th... what class are yall 1a, 3a, 5a?

The reason we are curious is that I posted a thread about a week ago about a 7th grade kid in Abilene who had run a 2:05 800m. A certain poster from Celina immediately posted that it was a "nice" performance but not phenominal as I had described it. So, that is why I was curious as to what place it gets in all these varsity meets everyone is going to.

SIDE NOTE: the guy from Celina was proven wrong and I am just rubbing salt in it.:D :D

for anyone in jr high to run a 2:05 is phenominal... thats placing 1st throught 6th on varsity as a jr high kid so kudos to that dude

I looked at just a random track meet and 205 would be 3rd at a big 4a-5a meet (Birdville) and first by 25 sec in a 1a meet (Hale Center)

At most Regional Meets (in 3-4 weeks), a 2:05 will get you into the finals, but thats about it IMO.
