A fan makes a catch in the stands with Moises Alou's glove right under his, stealing an out from the Cubbies with a 3-0 lead...Marlins just took a 4-3 lead in the same inning...will the Cubbies survive???

Like I said in another thread, that Cubs fan that interfered with Alou's catch is going to have everyone in Chicago wanting to kill him.

Poor dude, but hey he wasn't pitching after that incident!! And he wasn't the manager that decided to keep Pryor in. And whatever for these sportcasters saying the fans shouldn't blame him, yet they keep showing his face over & over! But hey the Marlins took advantage of their breaks...this is why I LOVE baseball. GO PUDGE & MARLINS!! Can't wait for game 7! :D

So much for the home field advantage! :)

Its weird, last year in the world series, Dusty Baker and the Giants had the Angels beat in game 6 and were like 7 outs away from winning the world series but then blew the lead late in the game and thus went onto to lose the world series in game 7. Could this happen to a Dusty Baker team again? Lose a series in 7 games after being so close to winning it in game 6? I think Baker is a great manager but I think he tends to let his starting pitchers throw to many pitches. Mark Prior led the league this year in pitches. But like I said, I think Baker is a great manager, just think he needs to limit his starters pitch count.

So much for the home field advantage! :) How horrible was that,You really can't blame the fan but man, get out of the way. That was definatly a momentum change..

Had that been in Florida they probably would have called fan interferance (sp?).

My husband, a lifelong Cub fan, said it was the curse of the goat. That seems to explain it all. But what a terrible non-call on the interference.

I am pulling for the cubbies, but i have to say that a ref was standing very close and he made the correct call.. the ball was over the fence, regardless of it being a catchable ball, the ball was not in the playing field making it accessible to the fans...

It just sucks for the cubs that it could have been out #2 and so phil C was right

SO MUCH FOR HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
