as a Rangers fan, let me just go on record saying that the As will finish at .500 this year...that's what their record to this point has indicated!

Seriously...that team is going to lose around 90 games.

Anyone that knows pro sports with long seasons like the NBA and MLB know that things dont really start taking shape until a month or two in the season. Just because Oakland beat Boston in a game in Japan doesnt mean anything.

Look at Kansas City a few years ago they started out like 9-0 and then came crashing back to Earth quickly. Or player wise like at Chris Shelton a few years ago had a huge April and didnt even finish the season in the majors. Its a marathon not a sprint. (However if the Rangers start off 2-0 im sure ill be singing a different tune lol)

The reason I dont like the A's this year is the lineup is suspect at best. The pitching isnt near as strong as in years past. Street is in the bottom 10 of major league closers.

but you never know...Just like the Tigers a couple of years ago...nobody thought that they would go to the world series..im not an A's fan but imo you cant count out anyone but the royals..Go Rangers!

at least the Royals have talent in their lineup.

The As have a couple of Royals castoffs in theirs...:doh:
