Howard Payne University's Lady Jackets locacted in Brownwood to play for the D III womens national championship on CSTV tomorrow evening. (Saturday)

Everybody from Brownwood is proud of our Lady Jackets and wish them the best!!

Good Luck Lady Jackets... now like this years slogan say's....FINISH IT!!!

Congrats. I know their asst. mens coach who is with them doing film breakdown. Go HPU!!! Hardin Simmons used to be the class of that conference, but no more!!!

HPU won by 10 tonight ...

my uncle and two cousins DROVE to Holland, Michigan from Brownwood to watch this game. CRAZY! My uncle is a professor at HPU and is a 'volunteer' golf coach, since they don't have a golf team but do compete some.

The game will be on CSTV tomorrow at 5pm CST. Dish Network channel 152.

One of my former track athletes is on that team, and the sister of one my current track athletes is on it as well(different schools). Pullin' for the Jackets!

Howard Payne is now 33-0 I believe, one more to go. The conference is still very strong even if HSU has dropped off a tad. McMurry finished the season with 20something wins and only 4 losses, all 4 at the hands of HPU I believe. Twice in conference play, once in the conference tournament, and again in the NCAA tournament. Brownwood and Abilene could very well have 2 of the best teams in women's division 3 bball.

Good morning from Holland, Michigan!!! It's a beautiful 28 degrees with a foot of snow on the ground. We drove the 1250 mile trip from Brownwood, and it took us 23 hours to get here...it will all be worth it if we can FINISH IT today!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Lady Jackets are currently 32-0 and looking for #33...If the Jackets win they will be known as "The Perfect Swarm"

The game also will be telivised on CSTV.. if you get that station. Here in Brownwood it is on channel 39 of the new cable provider

Game over. Howard Payne wins the national championship by 16 points. Finish the season 33-0! Only had 3 games all year where the opposing team was within 10 points.
