I watched it when I got home from the softball game thanks to a good friend of mine. It is great and is a WW2 movie about the Texas A&M Aggies in 1943 and captures the spirit of Aggieland back then along with the traditions. See this movie. If you are an Aggie it should be a must see and I hope they still show it like they used to at College Station. Every freshman Aggie should watch it and if any Aggie hasn't seen it should do so. In fact non aggies should see it too. It is a good movie about men who have given their lives and fought for their country. And remember this is from a UT fan.

You have to remember the movie was made in 1943. It is a propaganda type movie. Remember at the time we were in a big war fighting on two fronts.

A lot of the movie was filmed on campus too. Old dorms, etc. Pretty cool to see how it looked. I've seen it, thanks Phil C for the thread. Good stuff.

OK, seriously. Is this a movie that you rented or made for TV or what?

No. A friend let me watch it. It was made in 1943 and released on August 30 of that year. I think it is available for purchase at the Texas A&M Book store (maybe BBDE can help). I don't think it has ever been shown on television. I wish TCM could show it so everyone could watch and enjoy it. It is a good movie and it does show the campus and train station that was there at the time. Also some of the Aggie traditions are shown.

It's not on Netflix, but "Power, Passion & Glory" is. :D
