I am sorry to say I don't know anything about the man. I just went by the clue. Do I win a prize? Now you have sparked my curiosity and I feel that I must do some research. :-)

I was just getting ready to post that I couldnt find anything anywhere on Philbus Pudlugger, but you beat me to it slpybear. So I give up too. Who is guy?

If you care to scroll up a little bit Tiger. You will see that the all wise PPHSfan figured out who he is already. But I still have no idea what else he is famouse for. :-)

Thanks PPHS. I wasnt sure if that was the truth or not since I havent been able to find anything at all on this guy.

Because I obviously dont have enough to do, I checked the signers of the Declaration of Independence and didnt find his name. I think I would have remembered that name from a history class somewhere along the way. Once again I give up. Interesting exercise though unsuccessful.
