Len Polasek and Joe Herrera of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department watch a line of wildfire burn across TPWD's Chaparral Wildlife Management Area. The fire burned about 95 percent of the 15,200-acre property in La Salle and Dimmit Counties south of San Antonio, causing no injuries and sparing most of the facilities but destroying a research building and several vehicles. this is just sad.

it amazes me that in 2 days you can see flooding and wildfires in the same state.

the flooding here in the metroplex was crazy! 80 west on the right hand side.....we appear to have a new lake.

Is it over by Bank of America? That used to show up every time it rained a few years back.

I have never seen it that high. My mom was telling me about a time it was over the bridge though.

Some houses over by us were almost flooded out and I had never even seen water accumulate in the field by them.

I think they fixed that.

I think she was talking about where Lake Ray Hubbard flows out. On the other side of the levees it looks really high and on the road side the and on the left side of 80 its higher then I have ever seen
