Did you know that Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow met in Oak Cliff, Texas and Clyde is actually buried in one of the cemeteries? Also, Stevie Ray Vaughan was born there, as well as being the place where Lee Harvey Oswald was captured. Dennis Rodman went to high school in south Oak Cliff. This city has many memorable times, even has many songs written about it.

sweet!

i work with a guy from oak cliff....and he's always telling me crazy stories about oak cliff.

i tease him and tell him his neighborhood sounds like the neighborhood on "My Name is Earl".

one of these i am going to head over to that part of town. only now, i am afraid i might get shot with a bullet, or with some heroin.

yeah he tells me that one street divides it all.

what scares me is the fact this guy has lived there and survived for over 20 years on the bad side of oak cliff.

he has actually witnessed a guy get shot on his front doorsteps.

oh and the best part of it all is the ultimate "my name is earl" reference. think giovanni ribisi's character: Ralph.

he actually has a guy that lives in the neighborhood who shacks up with an old widow and mooches off of her. not to mention he's a junkie with a criminal past.

i told him he should write a memoir about living there.

"Surviving Oak Cliff"....i'm pretty sure it could be a spinoff to my name is earl.

HEY NOBODY STEAL MY IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
