A German retiree is taking a hospital to court after she went in for a leg operation and got a new anus instead, the Daily Telegraph is reporting.

The woman woke up to find she had been mixed up with another patient suffering from incontinence who was to have surgery on her sphincter.

The clinic in Hochfranken, Bavaria, has since suspended the surgical team.

Now the woman is planning to sue the hospital. She still needs the leg operation and is searching for another hospital to do it.

when my husband had his neck surgery - they came in with a magic marker type instrument and wrote "THIS SIDE" where they were to make the incision...........

back to the lady in Germany - when I hear incontinence - the anus/sphincter isn't the part of the anatomy I usually associate it with........ :eek: maybe they build women different over there...:p

So, the guy that had the incontinence problem, probably had his leg cut on. I can just hear him---" Well my leg feels great, but I'm still crapping in my pants.":D :D

That's true. However, I'm not sure a million dollars would be worth the pain. It'd take several million to help me get over a mistake like that.

This kindof reminds me of the fireman that received severe facial burns. They had to use his foreskin to rebuild his eyelids. To look at him today you would never know it, other than he is just a bit cockeyed.:D

When I had my knee surgery in 2004, they put No on my left knee and yes on my right one. LOL

Sounds like the time I heard about a guy getting his Viagra mixed up with his Rogaine, he said what little hair he had stands straight up all the time now!:D
