Bail set at $2M for mom accused of throwing sons off overpass 10:17 AM CT

Bond has been set at $2 million for the mother accused of throwing her two young sons off an overpass and into rush hour traffic, according to Dallas County jail records.
Khandi Busby, 27, is charged with injury to a child and attempted murder, according to jail records.
Ms. Busby is accused of throwing her sons, Gary Ford, 8, and Derrick Tennison, 6, off the Jim Miller Road overpass and into Interstate 30 traffic. Ms. Busby also jumped from the bridge, which has an estimated 22-foot drop. All three survived the fall.
Child Protective Services was seeking custody of the two boys. Derrick was placed in foster care last week. Gary remained hospitalized in critical but stable condition, said CPS spokeswoman Marissa Gonzales.
