Giddings Beats Rockdale in baseball tonight 2 to 1. Good defense and pitching tonight on both sides of the ball.

Giddings still trying to act like they are here to play this year. Keep it up.

tough game for both teams...not very much offense at all....i agree...great pitching and defense from both teams kept this one close...with district starting next thursday for giddings, it was good to see a pitcher like hammet to prepare us for district....good luck to rockdale the rest of the year...

They're 10-4 this year and someone told me they were ranked 17th before going into this game. We do win at softball, or at least we used to. We were pretty decent at football too back in the day, but we'll see what happens.

Rockdale gets Giddings respect.
They might have come up short on Friday's game but they will prove themselves in district play. Very good team, all around and know how to play hard 'til the last out and then shake hands with dignity. Unlike others we have played.

Good luck to the Tigers as district begins.
