Rice didn't run the score up on anybody. The final score was 58-20 and the JV was playing in the 4th quarter.

I should probably explain my post a little. I was being sarcastic because when Matthew and others started coming out with their polls, the Bandera people were wondering why they weren't highly ranked.

...well, yes the night was long...but we did catch a pass late in the 4th quarter! I do think we will improve, but 2002 was the Year of the Dogs. Maybe at Homecoming, some of the Champs will be around to pass on some mojo...and I agree, this team has to focus on NOW. They will get better....I have faith. So, let's not trash them, but inspire them to improve!! :)

But, loved the "coziness" of the 'Dome...had me a DIET Coke and some Cotton Candy....it was a nice evening.....except when we had to drive thru SA in a horrendous thunderstorm...'bout knocked our SUV off the road, not to mention that we couldn't see where the heck we were going....and the highlight of the evening was having dinner at Mamacita's Mexican Restaurant....yummy(you'll know what I mean, if you have visited one of their places!)...so all in all, quite an interesting Thursday nite...worst part was that it wasn't a Friday nite and I had to get up and go to work today!! :mad:

I cannot believe the sup. could not find a head coach amongst a staff that just coached a state championship. She had some hard feelings with Williamson and the staff and saw an chance to get rid of them, so she did. I hope they run her out of town!

look crow22 when you have #32 and #7 in there and most of offensive line with score 44-20 with 7 minutes left in 4q.that is not jv. that game is over and you have a chance to hurt one of these fine players. ..if thats what rice wants to do then thats there business. they use to hollow at tj mills at sealy for doing that. but call it what it really is.

i dont want to take anything away from rice program . they have really turn it around the last several years.very well coached, very displine, great kids that show sportsmanship. and outstanding talent. you add all that up and you have a great chance to go a long way.

The Sup is very loved here...there must have been a reason the SCHOOL BOARD wanted an outsider for AD, you'll have to ask them.
School politics....won't touch that one with a ten foot pole!!!
