I didnt know if I was allowed to use the term, Official in the thread but I've been asked to revive the 3A DownLow Awards aka, The Lowies. SO ladies and gents, its time to send in your nominations to me for who you, the people, think should be nominated for the following categories.

Poster of the Year
Thread of the Year
Rivalry of the Year
Game of the Year
Most Spirited Poster
Newcomer of the Year
Most Informative Poster
Player of the Year (only players that are members of the Downlow... doesn't matter whether or not they've ever posted as long as they're signed up... If you played this past year, let us know)
Team of the Year
Sportsmanship Poster
Most Humerous

Send your nominations to me via PM, nominations will close on Friday and i will sort them out over the weekend and voting will begin on Monday. Remember people your vote counts and as it is an election year you should be in a voting mood. What's the time frame for "the year"? Are we using June 2006 (last Lowie's) to the present? Or is there a cutoff, say Dec 2007? ;) Because that could effect "game of the year" and "player of the year" since it would include TWO football seasons! :eek: :nerd: :D

Yeah. They have very tough criteria for them and it has to be unanimous vote by the coaching staff for these two.



Maybe they should do like some other coaching staffs and hand them out like candy. :thinking:

a league of his own. Like in MLB, the best picture gets the
Cy Young Award. Cy Young was a Hall Of Fame pitcher way
