Thursday results -
The day was totally messed up due to the weather, so I don't any other results except ours- Cuero ended up advancing over Lexington, it was start and stop all afternoon with the wind and rain. Just miserable weather :(

Friday
Cuero 23
Tidehaven 7 (I think)

Cuero plays either Schulenburg or Anderson-Shiro in the late game tonight (about 8:00)

That's all the info I've got right now - if anyone else has any, please share.

Oh yea - Mr44 said it was "colder than a witches ****" out there this morning.. I bet it will be pretty brisk out there tonight too. I think I am going to stay home and get updates from him - hopefully we win tonight and get to play tomorrow and tomorrow offers warmer weather with less wind :)

update:

8:00pm game started about 8:30pm (nothing unusual about that lol) anyway - Cuero is up 10 to 0 in the 3rd. Hopefully when Mr44 gets home tonight, he'll have more details and updated brackets for tomorrow.

Cuero will play Edna at 7pm in championship game.
Got to see most everyone play, the championship was really the first round game. (lexington) They had a really good team.

cuero won the championship game against Edna 7-2. We were behind 2-0 going into the bottom of the 5th inning and we scored 7 runs.
That's how it ended up 7-2.. Congrats to the Gobblers - hope the boys get a good night's rest and have good practices this coming week - they will see some great competition in Medina Valley next tourney .....
