Mavs fans what match-up would you feel confident in heading in to the playoffs? Right now it would be LA and Dallas. No matter who it is it looks like one and done to me! And there is still the possibility they slip up and miss the playoffs all together!

I think Dallas passes Phoenix, Dallas has the easier schedule and PHX has been playing terrible with no sign of playing defense coming any time soon.

Very dissapointing after all the high hopes :(. The way they are playing right now, it makes no difference. They won't go far.

they are among the best at home and are about to play a LOT of games at home so that record is about to improve drastically

The 90's rockets were in the exact same situation dallas is in now. Made a big trade, finished the season from then on under .500(which dallas obviously can't do). Then won every series on the road.

I know the Mavs place in the standings is likely to change. Will that make a difference come playoff time?

After taking a look at the Mavs schedule for the rest of the season it looks like they will finish right at 50-52 wins. They will be lucky to finish the season better than 13-7.
