View Full Version : Sinton 5 CC Tuloso Midway 0 (Calallen Tourney)

Pirates win the first game of the tourney against Tuloso Midway 5-0 and right now are on a rain delay with the tarp on the field in bottom 1st with Sinton batting down 1-0 against Corpus Christi Carroll. Shows Sinton with 2 hits in the inning so they might have had runners on when the rains came.

Sinton lost to Carroll yesterday 4-2

They were scheduled to play McAllen & Laredo today, but I haven't heard any results.

I think yesterday's rain wrecked some havoc today.

All I know is the boys were gonna play McAllen sometime this afternoon at Aviator Field.

Will update if I hear anything before I head to the softball game.

Aviator Field is nice - that's where we saw West Columbia play Falfurrias (I think) - a few years back...

Trying to get info from one of my sources. LOL They played at 9:00 am this morning and game just finsihed about 20 mins ago. Sinton 10 Laredo United 0 in 5 innings with Joseph Alaniz tossing a 1 hit shutout. NEXT GAME: for 3rd place in Calallen at 4 pm against i think Eagle Pass. was going to post the game but my phone battery was dead.:(

Laredo United is horrible. wonder who will pitch against King. i guess it'll be Caroll vs Calallen in the championship game?

Laredo played better defensively than McAllen team, but yes its Caroll vs Calallen for championship. :mad: Caroll game Pirates had missed opportunities in that contest.

Sinton finishes 3rd in Calallen tourney by beating CC King 13-11. Cruz Rivas and Shane Segovia with HRs in that game for the Pirates.

I know they will be selling the at the admin building tomorrow. After that I believe you have to buy them at the gate.
