I heard the rumbling as I woke up this morning. I thought to

The last snow (this week) just missed us in Gilmer by 30 miles or so to the north. It would be nice if we actually got a few inches of snow this time around. I ain't skeared of driving in no snow.:D Besides it would be nice for my 7 year old to actually remember playing in the snow. My 10 year old barely remembers playing in the snow. It doesn't seem to snow nearly as much anymore as it did when I was a kid. I remember vividly back on December 10, 1983, waking up and having to help my brother get his car out of the driveway. While I was out there it was thundering like crazy, with cloud to cloud lightning, the first time I remembered ever seeing that with a snow storm. Oh yeah, we ended up getting about 12 inches of snow with at least 2 foot drifts. That was the most snow I have ever seen at one time in East Texas. Oh, the memories.:inlove:

Oh but there will be a storm a brewing when we come to town for district my lil "tigger" friend. The sun will definately be shining on the visitors side, but oh what gloom awaits the home crowd.... :devil:. I can't wait! :D

don't worry it is snowing in Lubbock to, it has been all morning. Current temp is 30 with a 20 mph wind...
