How do appeals work? Couldn't they appeal it today or tomorrow, then just withdraw it and have him serve it against the Nets or some easier team?

On the replay it looked like Dirk got out of position and was just trying to make sure that he didn't land hard himself. It's not his fault that AK47 only weighs 118 pounds soaking wet.:p
