I was a senior in High school. Gordon Wood spoke at my sports banquet in 1980 if I remember correctly. Great speaker and a great coach. Its been a while for them but anybody that knows anything about texas football knows their great history. Coming from a school that has never won a title (Boerne) I appreciate that. Now, all the niceties aside.... LH is gonna thump you next year, I hope.

Now I will be nice cuz I really appreciate everything you said up to this point. I think it will definately be one of the most anticipated matchups of the non-district schedule, and hopefully it will live up to the hype that it's gonna get. Only time will tell on your prediction. I can't wait for the new football season to start. With this type bantering now, what will this board be like next fall. I will say that the addition of some highly touted programs (whether by tradition, recent performance, or personal and team vanity) will certainly make for some lively and brutal exchanges. Go Blue will always serve the role of stirring the poop and keeping everyone on edge. But, based on the past exploits of some posters, the Brownwood fans will have to be on thier toes to avoid being overmatched. As for the great prognostications of Go Blue, he can rightfully say his predictions concerning Liberty Hill were accurate. However, I believe that a blind man in a remote prison cell in the far reaches of the universe with no outside communications could have been about as accurate overall. Go Blue may not be right all the time, but he sure ain't ashamed to let us all know when he is. He do make life fun. Just like most bosses we all have, they may not be the be the smartest people in the business, but when they get one right, they live on that laurel for years.
